What a lovely sunny Summer’s evening we had – in my dreams! Wet, windy, high tide, waves coming onto Prom, as well as seaweed and stones – so why did 81 people turn up to take part in the event?
There were a number of holiday-makers taking part – Bolton Tri Club and Cambridge & Coleridge AC are two that spring to mind, as well as all the usual supporters from Mounts Bay Harriers, Gyllynvase SLSC, Tri Logic, Penzance Swimming Club and Carn Brea Swimming Club.
Many thanks to Tony Rowell for providing light so that I could see to do the results – sorry you didn’t come first….
And of course many thanks to all the marshals who turned up tonight – even those who I didn’t know were coming!? The more the merrier, you all make for a safer event.
