A busy October weekend!

The Juniors Sportshall Challenge took  place in Carn Brea and saw two MBH Juniors take on two very different challenges. Sawyer finished 1st for chest press & Tama finishing 1st for vertical jump.

Tempest 10 mile Mudcrew. Two MBH members tackled this 1o mile night run on a very cold Saturday evening. The course follows the South West Coast Oath from The Minnsck Theatre to Lands End  – a tough course!  Tom Berryman finished 14th overall in 1:41:27 & Rebecca Wilding was 9th female to finish in 2:20:47

In the Gloucester 10k, MBH member Peter Le Grice was representing Cornwall and finished 1st in 29:26 – a superb time.

Carrick Cracker:
Nearer to home, the Carrick Cracker offered 3 different distance options & Harrier  Luke Mclean took on the longest of them of 30K. Luke really enjoyed this event & set a new PB finishing in 3:33:10.

At the Curnow Killer, an obstacle run event with two distance choice of either 4 mile or 9 mile. Dee Mclean attended with friends & despite it being very cold & tough had fun.

This weekend also saw the Trust 10 Trail run at Godolphin. This free none timed 10k trail running event saw plenty of MBH members attend for a practice run.

Finally, at Parkrun, the free weekly time 3 mile runs taking place all over the world, Sarah Tregear & Holly attended Haverfordwest park run. Whilst closer to home at Penrose park run Ruth Glover eased her self back into running finishing in 25:50 & Michael Rooney set himself a new PB finishing in 20:22
