Fish Cookery Course – Friday, 22 May 2009
Mounts Bay Rotary are running a fish cookery school with Robin Turner in Newlyn to help raise additional funds for a project currently underway to provide clean drinking water for the first time to a community in Ecuador.
This is a joint project for the Rotary clubs of Mounts Bay, Penzance and St Ives together with a local Rotary club in Ecuador. The active participation of the local club helps ensure that the funds are used effectively. This, combined with the local community providing most of the labour for the project as their contribution, allows benefits out of all proportion to the sums raised.
