Fordh Sen Mighal – Chasing the Pilgrim!

Saturday 9th December saw the third running of the Fordh Sen Mighal – from Lelant to Marazion on the famous St Michaels Way Pilgrims route. The weather forecast was not good but on the day, although it rained at the start of the event, conditions were much better than expected. The route was muddy after the recent rainfall but passable. The hardest part was the windy conditions especially at the highest points.

Tom Berryman was the first Harrier back in 10th place overall & a respectable time of 1.39.40. Tom was closely followed by Gary Richards in 12th place. Rebecca Wilding was the first lady Harrier back in 76th place overall.

All the Harriers enjoyed the event & were grateful to the Bys Vyken Events team & the marshals for the excellent organisation.

Mounts Bay Harriers meet on Monday evenings at Mounts Bay Academy. We offer a range of training for runners & triathletes of all abilities. Please see our website – www.mountsbayharriers.co.uk for further details.
