On Sunday afternoon, Sisters Savannah and Jolie Gibbs went to Newquay to compete in the Westward Cross Country league. The course was muddy and hilly however the weather was perfect for running and they both did very well in such strongly competitive races.
On Saturday evening, Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust held a 10k Race around the runway and hangers at RAF St Mawgan. Six Harriers took part in this unusual challenge. Michael Rooney arrived with his head-torch and finished in 40.03. Michael enjoyed this event and seeing parts of St Mawgan usually out of bounds to the public.
Earlier in the day at the same venue, junior Harrier Sam Treleven represented the Harriers junior section in the 5K. Sam completed this having already done Penrose Parkrun in the morning.
