Two Harriers were out & about competing this weekend in Newport, Wales. Dan Tildesley completed the 10k in 47mins 30 secs. Dan commented that this is a great race & he enjoyed the event.
Damian Cook completed the Inaugural Newport Marathon and finished in 4:18.18. He was pleased with this time.
Mounts Bay Harriers is also a triathlon club & one of our triathletes, Caleb Munday travelled to Spain to take part in the Ironman 70.3 event – a 1.2 mile sea swim followed by 56 miles on the bike & a Half marathon run – 70.3 miles in total. Caleb finished the course in 6 hours 30 minutes, a time he was pleased with and reflects the hard work he has put into training for the event.

Caleb said he loved Marbella 70.3, a bit of chop on the swim but he likes that challenge , the bike ride was stunning with 4900ft of climbing offering spectacular views of the Med and a great run course of two loops of the beach path and pier.
