HMS Raleigh Triathlon, Torpoint – Wednesday, 25 June 2008

I don’t know if you, or any MBH members fancy a mid-week triathlon; but, if so, you may not be aware  –  because it is not listed in the handbook  –  of the HMS Raleigh triathlon, at Torpoint, on Wednesday 25 June. Officially, it is the Royal Navy & Royal Marine Champoinships, but if, like myself, you are a ‘mere civilian’, you are quite welcome to enter as a guest. It is a sprint: 400  –  13m.  –  3m. and starts at 1p.m. (registration from 11am.). In other words, now that the A30 improvements at Victoria are complete, it is an easy trip from Penzance. As the rnrmtri.co.uk website has not been operational lately, I’ve put the details below.

Any queries, you can phone POPT Jane West (c/o Gymnasium, HMS Raleigh) on 01752 811531
