Hokey Cokey 26/5/19

On Saturday 26th May Janet Haynes and Caleb Munday took on Mad Hatters Hokey Cokey which is a run swim event, consisting of 11 stages altogether. Both Caleb and Janet took on the long course route which is 20km long, starting with a run which went round Charlestown harbour and went down to St Austell Bay. During this event competitors had to navigate coastal paths, coves and beaches, the swims where made interesting by lots of big barrel jellyfish swimming around. In the morning the conditions weren’t what the competitors would of wanted as it was misty and rainy.
Both Janet and Caleb enjoyed the event and said they would be back to take on the challenge again. They would both like to thanks Mad Hatters sport for putting on and organising a great event.
Janet Haynes was the first Harrier home in a time of 3 hours 16 minutes and not too far behind Caleb finished in a time of 3 hours 22.
