Junior returns to defend title – entry standard high

Junior Heffernan, winner of last years first MBH Penzance triathlon, has confirmed his entry for this year and will be back to defend his title, but no doubt stiff opposition will be provided by Rich Brady and local Matt Lewis. The second running of this popular event gets underway at 8am on Sunday 6 April at The Penzance Leisure Centre, St Clare, Penzance. This years entries have seen again a lot of first timers in all age groups, but also a scattering of very talented international triathletes and should prove to be a challenging event for all with the 400m pool swim, 15.5 mile, undulating bike route and finally a 4 mile run. The MBH crew will be out in force marshalling the course and as last year each competitor and marshal will receive an excellent quality goody bag (that’s bribary for you!)

If you are thinking of trying out triathlon this is the event for you – if you’re quick you can still enter this week – NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY

Entry forms can be downloaded from this site – enter NOW to avoid disappointment and guarantee your place in the ‘first of the season’ opening event.
