Elvis is not dead – he runs for Mounts Bay Harriers! Thank you to all you athletes who turned out tonight on what was perfect weather for our annual 6 mile (3 mile there and 3 mile back) club run to see the Newlyn and Mousehole Christmas lights. I think I counted around 70 in total and probably all Cornish running clubs represented – a big thankyou to all (especially St Austell for the long journey – much appreciated.
The fancy dress theme was more apparent this year with fairies, Elvis, a member of Wham, numerous Mother and Father Christmas’s, a christmas cracker, super heroes and even a dog deer! but more importantly lots of high vis, flashing lights and glow sticks.
The chips and mince pies went down a treat (eventually) a big thank you to Pete at The Yacht Inn for putting up with us and to all of you who bought a raffle ticket.
