Race Report – Cornish Marathon and Bideford 10 Miler

This weekend saw MBH members take on two events across the West Country.

The Cornish Marathon:

Widely regarded as one if the toughest marathons in the UK, this challenging event was taken on by two MBH members, Luke Mclean & Julie Bolitho. Both completed the very tough 26.2 mile run in less than favourable weather conditions. Luke was delighted to finish in 4.16.45 with Julie coming in at 6.12.37.

Bideford 10 Miler:

Over the border in Devon, seven Harriers travelled to take part in this popular 10 mile run partly along the road & partly on the Tarka Trail. This fast mainly flat route offers runners the chance of a pb and this year, the weather in Devon was perfect for this. Emma Richards was pleased to run a 10 mile pb especially as she found the course a little flat for her tastes! Joyce James ran with her daughter Laura and they enjoyed the event although commented that the warm day was unexpected.
