In the seniors, Four harriers travelled over the border to Barnstaple to take part in the marathon & half marathon. Three Harriers did the full 26 miles & one did the half distance. The weather conditions were perfect for running this fast & mainly fast course. Gary Richards was the first Harrier to finish although it was a race to the finish with Gary doing the full marathon overtaking Claire Backhouse in the half in the last half hour. Gary was 14th overall. Sam Rowe had great support for this her 2nd marathon and Julie Bolitho was still smiling out on the trail & enjoyed the event.
