St Michael’s Mount Remembrance Run

Sunday, 13 November 2011 at 11.02am sees the fifth St Michael’s Mount Remembrance Run taking place.

This is a 4.2 mile or so run along the beach from the Causeway to Penzance and back again. There should be a low tide this year (unlike last year’s high tide with gale force south westerly and torrential rain!) so there is no reason to turn up with mask and snorkel as per previous years…..

Registration is from 9.30am in Mounts Bay Sailing Club behind the Goldolphin Arms, Marazion. Parking is in Folly Field (the car park on your right-hand side as you come into Marazion from Penzance) thanks to St Aubyn’s Estate.

There will be a two-minutes silence before the race starts.

?1 of the entry fee goes towards the Poppy Appeal and all entrants will receive a poppy pinned to their number together with a memento of the run.

Something red must be worn!

Marshals please turn up at 10.15am for a 10.30am briefing – don’t be late!
