Tehidy Gecko Gathering:
This event took place on Tuesday evening the 30th of July offering runs the options of a 5k or 10k run. There was four Mounts Bay Harries that attended this event. In the 5k run was Robert Bolitho taking part in his first run for the club. The 10k saw Michael Rooney, John Turtle & Julie Bolitho take part.

Percuil 3km River Swim – St Mawes:
Saturday the 3rd of August saw an early morning alarm call for two Harrier members Mike Johns and Ian Matthews as they travelled to St Mawes to swim in the Percuil 3K River swim, organized by Nearwater Events in St Mawes.
The event marches you on foot to the start on the River Percuil and then proceed to jump in the water and swim back down the estuary finishing in St Mawes harbour where bacon sandwiches and tea/coffee awaits, along with a finishers t shirt and medal.
Although not a race both members finished in the top twenty and were pleased with their times even though the swim course proved a little short on the day (2.4km).
Indian Queens half Marathon:
Sunday the 4th of August saw the Indian Queens half Marathon covering 13.10 miles is Race 11 of the Cornish Grand Prix series and advertised as the flattest half Marathon in Cornwall. Six Mounts Bay Harries attend this event with one Mr Tom Berryman deciding this wasn’t a hard enough challenge for himself, so cycled up from Zennor to take part. Julie Bolitho stated that the course had changed from previous years and that she was happy with her time. Chunky stated he was Pleased with his result setting a new PB. The brass band that was playing in a very rural lay-by added to the fun on a warm day. Tim Twiggs was first MBH member across the finish line inn 1:31:57.
