|December 21, 2008|
By popular demand the the Trelissick 10k is back, but this time in a winter version! The race will take place on the 21st December 2008 at 10.30am and represents the perfect way to stave off the dark winter gloom and invigorate yourself prior to those wild Christmas eating and drinking binges!
This winter’s event will differ from the 10k you completed in the summer in the following ways:
No killer final loop past the start/finish!
Hardly any cobbles!
The new route includes land not usually open to the public as well as the Tregew land recently bought by the Estate
There will be a bespoke T-shirt for every finisher
The bridge through Trelissick Gardens will be used to cross the KHF road at the first point of crossing, letting you run through part of the gardens and avoid the steps down to the road
Online entry is available
I have attached further information about the event (route, parking, prizes etc) and an entry form.
I really hope to see you on the 21st, which I gather will be a classic crystal clear frosty Cornish morning…. The sun came out for the summer event so why not the winter one too!
