Vivs Revenge
In true MBH tradition the last Thursday session of the year always lends itself to ‘Vivs revenge’ – a roughly 5 mile time trial to guage any improvements or just to do the Monday night run on a Thursday (if that makes sense?!)
The club is currently being hit by a cold / flu bug so a lot of faces were missing.
19 MBH’ers turned out, on what seemed at first to be a rough night, but the rain soon disappeared so at least it was dry, there was a little wind but nothing too strong. Amazing what people will put themselves through for a mince pie!
Viv carefully went through the course as in previous years it had been rumoured that some had taken a short cut!! I don’t believe it!
Ronnie and Kev set everybody off, Sam and Gus sprinting away, quickly opening a gap to Mark and Jer being chased by Ian and Andrew, everyone else following behind
The run never gets any easier with the last mile and a bit all up hill but 9 members were first timers, 7 managed a new course PB (compared to previous years)
