Weekly news (no 3)

Well, a good day at the Mounts Bay 10k – full report below.

Congratulations to Sam Hill and Mike Robinson who, following their fantastic performances at the weekend have been selected to run for Cornwall (against Devon) this Sunday at the Plymouth Hoe 10 miler – Good Luck both

Wednesday evening run this week will be a 10 miler leaving from the Yacht Inn carpark at 7pm, dress up warm as it’s supposed to be very cold (even snow forecast)

MBH ski trip 2011 has now been booked for January 8th 2011 – if you are interested we may still be able to fit you in – 9 going with us, maybe some others going with Hucksters (see Duncan and Marie)

An Resek and Helston tri entry forms are out – club block entry for An Resek available at club nights

Don is planning this years France cycling weekend – Friday 11th June to Monday 14 June 2010 – see or e mail Don (that’s the ‘contact us’ website questions from homepage) for more details

Thursday sessions have now been split and the new training plan is on the website – there is a qualifying time (42 mins for men & 45 for women) to join the (and I hate to say this expression) ‘elite’ group – these sessions will be harder and aimed at the more accomplished runner – this group will be taken by Ronnie and Viv
The other groups session have been also toughened up and will be taken by Ian and Mark

This weekends long run will be an 18 miler leaving the school carpark at 9am – route yet to be decided

JUNIORS (and coaches) – remember there is no Friday club at half term OR the Friday after – as it’s the clubs Junior Cross Country Races at the school – entry forms available on Fridays (?2 entry or ?3 on day, It is intended to be a ‘practice’ run for Trannack XC race the week after (March 6th) there will be a registartion desk, numbers issued and to worn on front of vests, finishing funnel, a medal for all finishers, age group prizes for winners etc

New high vis club clothing on show on Monday club night -no sign yet of new cycling and tri kit though?!?
