Sunday 21st March – Sport Relief

As organising club of our local Sport Relief event may I remind all those lovely people who have offered to help out on the day if they could be at the Station House car park, Marazion for about 8.30 (car park and registration marshals at 7.30) that would be great.
Radio Cornwall will be broadcasting live from the event, Roy Mann, Mayor of Penzance will start the event, there will be live music from young new bluegrass and country band ‘Flats & Sharps’, aerobics warm up and most importantly a lot of money being raised – whether it’s one , three or six miles, if you walk, run or crawl, it’s all for a good cause – pre entries have totalled over 250 and if you haven’t done so yet you can enter on the day (?5 adults, ?2 junior (under 16) or ?10 for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) – if Eddie Izzard can run all those marathons I’m sure everybody can do at least 1 mile.
