How to get there:
10km from Barnstaple using A39.
Or if travelling from M5, leave at Junction 27 and take A361 and after approx 30 miles take right turn signposted A399 Ilfracombe. Stay on A399 until Blackmore Gate then take left turn onto A39 and stay on until signposted left turn for Arlington Court.
The Course:
On a scenic, undulating 10km course through the extensive National Trust grounds at Arlington Court country estate. The course is nearly entirely off road and follows woodland trails, tracks, and parks and takes in several testing climbs mixed in with some fast downhill and flat sections.
Fun Run:
There will also be a Fun Run over a distance of approx. 1.5 miles
The race is organised by North Devon Road Runners and The National Trust and is run under a SEAA rules and permit (applied for)
The course if fully marshalled with a drink station (sorry only water!) and medical backup
Facilities include: changing, toilets, bag store, and refreshments
T shirts to all finishers and prizes to category winners
Arlington Court and gardens open to visitors
