Eden Marathon & Half Marathon Sunday 16th October 2016

A number of Harriers made the journey to The Eden Project to take on the hilly Eden full & half marathon. Weather conditions were good making the challenging course a pleasant experience. The Harriers male team were second male team overall.
Pete Le Grice running for Harriers won the half marathon in 1.13.10, almost 7 minutes ahead of the next finisher. The first Harriers lady home was Anne Waller in 1.38.41.

In the full Marathon, Ian Tucker finished in 43rd place in a very good time of in 3.49.50. He described the course as hilly but enjoyable.

All Harriers agreed that this was a well organised event & the finishing section running downhill through the Eden Project was an amazing experience.
