Hayle Sprint 2007 Provisional Results

Well done to all who completed the triathlon today in glorious sunshine!

First MBH man home was Matt Stokeld in a time of 1 hour 7 mins - 5th overall, next in was Gus (1:09:29 - 8th), Ian Matthews (1:11:47 - 17th), Scott Markham (1:15:06), Don Hutchison (1:15:49), Shawn Gimbert (1:19:08), Phil Sanger (1:20:08), Jeremy Marston (1:20:47), Robert Burrows and Dave Kennedy.

The men won the team prize - pipping Plymouth at the post!

Well done to Matt and Shawn who completed the Hayle Triathlon series (Tim would have done it today but decided to stand on a broken mirror in the week and cut his foot open and didn’t want to attract the Great White to Copperhouse Pool!)

For the women, Susie Harwood completed it in a time of 1 hour 20 mins and 55 secs - 6th woman overall. Next was Helen Webb (1:22:20 - 9th), Sam Lawley (1:24:25 - 11th), Marie Usher and Delia Treseder.

Not sure if there was a team prize for the women but they would have won it!

Delia was taking part in her first open water triathlon and we look forward to a full report from her once she has recovered!
