Penzance Try a Tri event 2007

Thanks for a great day, you must have worked really hard,
the event was spot on in every aspect, even the hills were
good!

I just want to thank you for the excellent event You staged
today. Your team of marshalls gave us all encouragement and were very
positive, all applicable routes were clearly visible.

I completed my goal and had a great time.

Thank you for an excellently organised triathlon. The
courses, marshalls and general organisation was great, and
the results on the website same day! It was my first tri,
now I’m hooked.

See you at the next event I hope

It was only my second tri, but i was very impressed with the
organization and marshaling. I really enjoyed the bike
route, very scenic. The only small comment I would like to
make is that it would be nice see the regular age
categories, I personally like to see how I’m doing in my own
age group.

I will definitely be back next year.

I had a ball + really enjoyed myself, as you said the
weather was perfect and the organisation was brilliant,
with the marshals being very encouraging.
and I was fairly pleased with my times.

just want to say a massive thanks to everyone involved in
this very well organised event. i really enjoyed meself and
found the marshals to be polite, helpful + encouraging. this
tri deserved the lovely weather which it got. long may it
continue!

I spoke to Steve Trow (the Manager of PzLC) and he said his
staff confirmed that all appeared to go well on the day, and
so he was pleased with how it had all gone. Steve also
mentioned that one of his staff was a participant and that
they had commented on how well organised they thought the
event was, including lots of marshalls etc.
I’m really pleased all went well for you. Well done to all
those involved, and all the hard work you must have put into
the preparation and to all those who volunteered their time.

I assume you are hoping to book the same fantastic weather
for next year!

Superb event. The best organisation at a tri ive raced in.
If they were all like this then tri would be so much more
successful. Thanks to all who helped, i didnt do that well
but it was a fantastic event to be a part of. Cheers to all.

What a great event!

Beautiful sunshine, I was really hot by the time I got to
the run (about 10 ish).

When I was looking at the route maps I thought the
transition area and routes looked confusing (and it was) but
I was left in no doubt where to go from the main road thanks
to some excellent marshalling.

Overall it was a fantastic event. The transition area could
be improved - I didn’t enter/exit the bike at the same time
as anyone doing the opposite but I imagine that could have
caused a problem. Plus I needed help finding the bike in
route - as well as the finish route (mind you, I was well
gone by then!). Other than that very minor gripe, it was an
excellent event. The t-shirt was the best I’ve had yet
(which is important to me!). Everyone was friendly and
helpful, the routes were great, the marshals were
encouraging without exception and everything went very
smoothly.

The rolling start was interesting - in enabled everyone to
start on time but meant that I couldn’t really gauge how
well I was doing against anyone else. I’m not sure whether I
like it or not but it certainly didn’t detract from an
excellent event.

Congratulations on a well run tri, nice and early in the
year, one to mark in the calendar. It was the first
triathlon of the season for ourselves and a real stiff one
to say the least. Your success which it was, No. 1 very
nice, helpful friendly volunteers every single one of them,
a real nice day was had by all I am sure. The competitors
who got the biggest cheery was the ones who took their time
and made sure they got a finish. It was nice they got a
momento too.

The way you organised the swim was very good, kept the whole
event moving, cyclists hit the road in small numbers.
